Visit to Monaco Tech
During the month of July, the start-up incubator Monaco Tech was visited by the Minister of Finance and Economy. The first part of the visit was a discussion about the incubator’s goals and positioning, with the Monaco Tech team. Additionally, the Minister had meetings with nineteen creative start-ups involved in an accelerator program. During the visit, Mr. Pierre-André Chiappori also took the opportunity to tour the facilities of both Monaco Tech, gaining firsthand insight into the innovative workspaces and resources available to the startups. He engaged directly with the entrepreneurs, discussing their challenges, aspirations and the support they receive through the incubator programs. The Minister expressed his enthusiasm for the diversity of ideas. Moreover, The potential for these startups to contribute to Monaco’s growing reputation as a hub for innovation and entrepreneurship.
Minster of Finance meets ETYC
The Minister met with our ETYC’s team, recognizing our efforts in promoting sustainability within the yachting industry. We presented briefly our training program designed to equip yacht crews with the knowledge and skills needed to minimize their environmental impact. Indeed, the Minister was impressed by our audit system, which ensures that sustainable practices are implemented and maintained. He recommended ETYC for leading the charge in environmental responsibility, emphasizing the importance of our certification program in setting new standards for the industry. Together, we are committed to a more sustainable future.
