The Superyacht Eco Association, a non-profit initiative originally established by the Yacht Club de Monaco, has introduced the SEA Index CO2 tool, allowing a growing number of superyacht owners to impartially assess their yachts’ environmental impact.
Available to any yacht owner with vessels over 25 meters, the certification process was developed in response to strong demand from progressive superyacht owners and in collaboration with industry stakeholders, including captains, shipyards, operators, and an independent certification body.
This tool promotes transparency and empowers yacht owners to make informed choices when purchasing, selling, or chartering a vessel.
Together, we are building a community dedicated to preserving nature’s assets and its fragile equilibrium for future generations to enjoy.
